Bankroll Management 101
Equally as important as playing the RotoRadar lineups, is playing the lineups the RotoRadar way.
This means being smart with your bankroll. Our rule of thumb is what we call the “80-20” Rule. This means the absolute most you should place in large tournaments, quintuple and triple ups is 20% of your nightly play. While the large payouts are tempting, the best way to win money is slow and steady. Therefore, at least 80% of your resources should go to double ups and 50-50’s. Keep in mind 50-50’s offer a lower payout however increase your chances for profit which makes them slightly more favorable in our eyes.
The second tip of bankroll management is to have a consistent amount that you play each night. The amount does not matter as long as you are comfortable. We advise you to play an amount you are prepared to lose three consecutive times. This does not mean we are not confident in our product but, sometimes bad luck happens. We can not control injuries, ejections, foul trouble etc… Many things fall out of our control. If you are not prepared to lose that amount, you are betting too much. Remember this is a marathon, not a race.
Our third tip is to select your entries early in the day. That way, when you receive the lineup, all you have left to do is edit your lineup. This makes the process much quicker and easier.

1. We will send out 2 lineups a day (unless informed otherwise); a GPP and a Premier. The GPP is intended to win 2, maybe 3 times a week. Our GPPs are our “tournament” lineups. These lineups are high risk/high reward. We recommend using that lineup in only half of your GPP plays (or 10% of all plays by the 80-20 rule).
2. Our Premier lineups are our Cash Games lineups. You should bet 90% of your bankroll on the Premier.
3. We always send lineups for the main slate of games.
4. You should follow our 80-20 rule and play 80% of your money in double ups and 20% of your money in tournaments.
5. You should be entering your tournaments several hours in advance to make sure you’re not scrambling to enter tournaments last minute.
